Delmar Wayne Anderson, age 71, passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2015. Born on March 19, 1943, he was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was saved in March 1999 at his home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Delphia Fansler Anderson; brothers, Homer Anderson and Don Anderson; sister, Betty Arnold; and niece, Karen Arnold.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Greer) Anderson; daughter, Cheryl Williams and husband Chuck, of Rogersville; son, Scott Anderson and wife Tracie, of Surgoinsville; special friend, Aunt Bea, of the home; granddaughters, Taylor Arnold and husband Josh, and Alex Williams, of Rogersville; brother, Doyle Anderson and wife Bobbie, of Surgoinsville; sisters, Ruby Housewright, of Surgoinsville and Dorothy Mullins, of Rogersville.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday at Christian-Sells Funeral Home.
Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm with Rev. Pat Hammond and Rev. Ronald Manis officiating.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday at Hawkins County Memorial Gardens.
