Donald C. "Don" Adams, age 83, of Temperance, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 14, 2015. He was born April 29, 1931, to Arvin and Ruth (Keck) Adams in Toledo, Ohio. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War. For nearly thirty years, he owned and operated A & B Tool and Manufacturing Corp. Don was a faithful member of Liberty Baptist Church where he served as a trustee. Aside from operating his successful tool and die business, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Don also loved traveling with his wife, Eveline. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 64 years, Eveline (Barnett) Adams; children, Stephen "Dusty" (Ruth) Adams, Karen Woll and Jennifer Shaw; grandchildren, Nathan Woll, Andrea Outar, Jeffrey Adams, Stephen Woll, Rachel Lobban and Elisabeth Shaw; 11 great-grandchildren and one expected great-granddaughter in March; daughter-in-law, Robin Adams; sisters, Millie Proshek and Ruthann (Denny) Griffith and brother, Edward (Margaret) Adams. In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by his son, Timothy Adams; son-in-law, Philip Woll; sisters, Norma Manteuffel and Dorothy Weber; brothers, Elmer and Ray Adams. The family will receive guests on Wednesday, February 18, 2015, from 3-8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin in the funeral home on Thursday, February 19, 2015, at 10 a.m. with Pastor Rick Rust officiating.
