Edward Abbott, 44, of 2319 1A St. S.E. died Monday in the Holy Cross hospital.
Born at Croy, England, he settled in the Vulcan district in 1926 and in Calgary in 1940. Mr. Abbott worked as dispatcher for Bell Taxi. There are no known survivors.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Jacques funeral home with Rev. W. F. Brownie officiating. Burial will be in Queen’s Park Cemetery.
