OBITUARY: GUY EDWARD CLARK Guy Edward Clark son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Clark,, passed away at his home in Gordon, Nebr., May 9, 1943, at the age of 62 years and 1 month. He was born in Monroe, Wisconsin, on April 8, 1881. He came to this country with his parents in 1885. He lived through the hard ships of pioneer life. He married Mary Victoria Pfisterer on May 15, 1907. To them were born 2 sons Freddie Clark, of San Diego, California, and Clarence Clark, of Gordon, Nebraska. He worked at the Mission Ranch for several years and several ranches near Gordon finally filing on a homestead north of Gordon. Later he moved to the Swan place northeast of Gordon, where his wife died of the flu on Oct. 28, 1918. He moved to Gordon and on January 14, 1926, he married Dollie Agnes McKinzie, who died on December 9, 1939. His survivors are his two sons Freddie Clark, of San Diego, California, Clarence Clark, of Gordon, Nebraska, three brothers Will, Charley and Dave, all of Gordon, and one sister Mamie Morton of Alhambra, California, besides other relatives and a host of friends His parents and two sisters preceded him in death. Funeral services were held on Wednesday morning at ten o'clock at the Catholic Church with Rev Thomas J. Cooney in charge. Burial was made in the Gordon Cemetery.
