Mark L. Miller, 50, of Ouray, CO, formerly of South Haven, died on Jan. 30, 2015 in a tragic climbing accident.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 7, at Clearwater United Methodist Church, Clearwater.
Mark is survived by his wife, Colette of Ouray, CO; parents, Donald and Diane Miller of South Haven; siblings, Merry (Terry) Wolford of Mankato, Marsha (Mathew) Rouch of Coon Rapids, and Matthew (Wendy) of Portage, MI; nieces and nephew, Heather (Scott), Heidi (Brian), Bailey, Angela, and Michael; great nieces and a great nephew.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Vincent and Bernice Jaspers, and Floyd and Flora Miller.
Mark Lyle Miller was born on May 24, 1964, in St. Cloud. He graduated from Annandale High School in 1982. He was working as a climbing guide for San Juan Mountain Guides and the Ouray Ice Park, and as an instructor for Rigging for Rescue. Mark enjoyed volunteering with the Ouray County EMS and the Ouray Mountain Rescue Team. His passions are his family, climbing, being in the outdoors, teaching, motorcycling, and bicycling.
