John Luther married Susan Brown(1850-1935)in about 1871, she was also born in West Mahoning Twsp. John was a farmer and Susan kept house. They had seven children: Mary Elizabeth, Charles Henry, Harry W. David Angus, Hannah may, Luther and Cora.
John died in 1918 and is laid to rest along side his wife Susan Brown Stear in Smicksburg Cemetery in West Mahoning Township, Indiana County, Pa.
