Pauline Virginia Lane, 92, was the daughter of Paul A. and Mary May (Herrington) Wingler. She married Raymond H. Lane in Kentucky in 1939. He passed away on August 26, 2000. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Paul Wingler Jr. and a sister-in-law, Martha Wingler.
Survivors include two sons, Larry R. (Glenda) Lane and Steven H. Lane; three grandchildren, Robert H. (Teri) Lane, Charles H. (Lori) Lane and William H. (Tanya) Lane; five great-grandchildren and Pauline's special friend, David Champion.
Pauline was previously employed by the Toledo school system, Sears in Effingham, Welcome Wagon of Mattoon and United Way of Mattoon.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Mattoon. She was also a member of P.E.O. Chapter KQ of Mattoon and a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
