Clyde was born in the South Side neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the 2nd of 9 children. They were members of St. Michael's Parish on Pius Street.


The family moved to the Brookline neighborhood in the South Hills of Pittsburgh about 1920. Clyde attended Resurrection Grade School on Creedmoor Avenue in Brookline. He had 2 sisters who became Sisters of Charity of Seton Hill, and a brother, Joseph, who was ordained a Catholic priest.


Clyde married Lillian P. Gschnell on June 17, 1940. They were longtime residents of the Brookline neighborhood in the South Hills of Pittsburgh and longtime members of the Church of the Resurrection, 1100 Creedmoor Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15226 (Brookline). At Resurrection, Clyde was a member of the Legion of Mary.


Clyde and Lillian had many children. Their daughters all had the first name of Mary, then a different middle name.


Clyde was survived by his children and grandchildren. His infant grandson, Jeffrey C. Morabeto, Memorial #179294996, is interred in the same grave.
