Johnson, Isabel age 100, of Charlotte, MI, died Sunday, March 27, 2005. Mrs. Johnson was born June 3, 1904, Loda, Illinois, the daughter of the late Meddie LaBare and the late Margaret (Doyle) LaBare. She was a member of Olivet Congregational Church and a member of the Amy Storr and Emma-Jo Circle and Women's Fellowship at church. She was also a life member and Past Worthy Matron of Brookfield Chapter O. E. S. #352.
She is survived by two daughters, two sons, a brother, 19 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, 9 great great grandchildren, a nephew whom she raised as well as many other nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband Leonard E. Johnson in 1984, sister Arabel Krebs, brothers Lorrance, Carroll 'Casey' Johnson and LaVern LaBare.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 31, 2005 at Pray Funeral Home, 401 W. Seminary Street, Charlotte, MI, with Rev. Michael Fales officiating. Interment will be at Bosworth Cemetery in Walton Township, MI. Visitation will be 3 - 5 and 7 - 9 p.m. Wednesday, at Pray Funeral Home. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Olivet Congregational Church Kitchen Fund.
