Lisa D. Watts was born on December 26, 1963. She was the middle child born to Elizabeth Hale (nee Moore) and Clinton C Hale. She was educated in the Orange (NJ) Public School system and went on to earn her Associate’s Degree from Essex County College, in Newark, NJ., where she consistently maintained the academic honors of Dean’s List.
Throughout her life Lisa worked tirelessly in her community at various jobs. She worked at Magic Fountain, the YWCA of Orange, the City of Orange Township Mayor’s Office and Recreation Department as a lifeguard in the city’s parks. She also worked for A&L Commercial Cleaning Company.
Lisa dedicated 23 years to the Orange Board of Education as an Instructional Teacher’s Aide for special needs children. She was also an active representative for the Orange Education Association. In addition, Lisa was a member of the Eastern Stars Lady Electra 81. Most importantly, she was a dedicated loving mother and friend.
She leaves to mourn her passing five children. Daniel Watts of New Jersey, Jerome Watts (Deanna) of Nevada, Talton Watts of Pennsylvania, Kenyatta Watts of Pennsylvania, and Nicholas Watts of New Jersey. Two brothers, Larry Moore of New Jersey , Clinton Hale of New Jersey, thirteen grandchildren, and special friend Ernest Green, along with a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
