Sam Patterson was my Brother-in-law. Sam married my Sister Diann when I was just a year old so I never knew a time without him in my life. Sam's favorite holiday was Christmas and he spent the Christmas of 2014 with his family having a wonderful time! Sometime during the early morning hours of 12/26, he fell asleep in his favorite chair and met the Lord never waking again in this life.

Tragically just 22 days later his 43 year old daughter and my Niece (Stacie Lee Nichols) passed away in almost the same manner.
