Terry Scott Wilcox, age 57, of Alpena, AR passed away Tuesday December 9, 2014 at his home. He was born November 28, 1957, in Harrison to Tom and the late Billie (Bailey) Wilcox.

Terry attended Alpena School and he enjoyed playing basketball. His basketball skills soon led him to becoming a star player for the Alpena Leopards. He joined the National Guard in 1977 and served for 6 years. Terry was a member of the Alpena First Baptist Church. His hobbies were fishing, hunting and looking for arrowheads. He was a lifetime devoted heavy construction worker and pipeliner with the IUDE Local 101. He had been employed for a number of Pipeline Companies including the following: Sheehan, Precision and Michaels. His work took him into many different parts of the United States and Alaska.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Frances (Billie) Wilcox, and an infant sister, Jeanette Lynn Wilcox.

Celebration Of Life Services will be 10:00 AM Monday December 15, 2014 at Alpena First Baptist Church. Pastor Freddie Blevins and Wesley Cantwell will officiate with interment following at Alpena Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Sunday December 14, 2014 at Smith Family Funeral Home in Green Forest.
