Howard E. Edwards, 78, of Rushville, passed away January 25, 2015 in Rushville.
He was born April 27, 1936 in Metamora to Finley & Martha Mae (Sizemore) Edwards.
Howard was a 1954 graduate of Brookville High School. He was married many years to Belva "Buddie" Hunter, she preceded him in death in May of 2010.
Howard retired in 1986 from Ford Motor Company in Indianapolis where he had worked for over 30 years. He was a member of the the UAW Local #1111 in Indianapolis. Howard enjoyed bowling, softball & cheering on the Cincinnati Reds.
He is survived by his sons, Thomas & Michael Edwards, both of Rushville, a daughter, Deanna Edwards of Rushville, a brother, Clifford & wife Judy Edwards of Metamora, sisters, Genova Casteel of Metamora and Maude Sellers of Terra Haute, grandchildren, Jackie & husband Corey Marsh, Jeff & Tim Edwards and Matthew Mueller, great grandchildren, Kaylyn & Jackson Marsh, several nieces, nephews, great nieces & great nephews also survive.
Howard was preceded in death by his parents, wife, brothers, Paul Edward, James Bergen & Marvin and sisters, Geraldine Casteel, Holly Lancaster & Beulah Foster and infant siblings, Farmer, Belva & Winnie.
Services will be held at 1 PM Thursday, January 29, 2015 at Moster Mortuary, Rushville, with Rev's Jeff & Rob Edwards presiding. Friends are welcome to visit at the mortuary from 11 AM until time of service on Thursday.
Burial will be in Rushville's East Hill Cemetery.
