Funeral services for Eileen Joyce Roller, 75, of Columbia City will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Columbia Funeral Home in St. Helens. Rev. Ivan Bissell will officiate. Private interment will be in Columbia Memorial Gardens. She died on January 23, 2015 at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland after a 13 year struggle with multiple myeloma. She was born on July 29, 1939 in Arvada, Colorado to Earl Lester and Lucy Irene (Graves) Avis. She graduated from St. Helens High School with the Class of 1957. She worked as a salesperson for clothing businesses for over 30 years and owned a men's clothing store in St. Helens prior to her retirement. She enjoyed reading and visiting with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her loving husband and soul mate, Alexander Nathaniel Roller; her son, Randy Allen Heller of St. Helens; her daughters, Lori Lynn Johnston (Douglas) of Warren and Vicki Lou Nelson (Daniel) of Scappoose; her step-daughter, Ilene Rene' Miller (Matthew) of Stanwood, Washington; her step-sons, Jeffery Alexander Roller of Beaverton and Matthew Alan Roller (Kara) of Newberg; her sister, Marilyn Sandstrom (Donald) of Warren; her brother, Stanley Avis of Columbia City; her aunt, Phyllis Rowley of Columbia City; her grandchildren, Christopher Earl Heller, Joseph John Anthony Nelson, Joshua Clifford Daniel Nelson, Katie Lynn Danielle Nelson, Michael Douglas Johnston (Courtney), Nicole Christina Hansen (Michael), Ryan Jeffrey Johnston, and Timothy Fred Alexander Nelson (Christa); her step-grandchildren, Madison Alayna Skye Roller and Nicole Elyse Miller; and three great-grandchildren.
