Jose M.”Joe-Jo” Lopez Jr. passed on January 21st 2015 In Andrews Texas at the age of 20. He is survived by his parents Jose M. Sr. and Alice Lopez of Andrews Texas, Brother Mario Lopez of Andrews Texas and Sister Amanda Lopez Barron of Midland Texas. He had 3 nieces and 3 nephews. He is preceded in death by His brother Joseph Lopez, maternal grandmother Juana Guajardo of Dimmitt Texas and his paternal grandmother Eulalia Lopez of Andrews Texas.
Joe-Jo was born on March 11, 1994 in Andrews Texas. He graduated from Andrews High School in 2012. He was a member of the color guard in the Andrews High School marching band. He played many sports as as youth which included...teeball, baseball, basketball, football, soccer and tennis. He was a kind hearted soul that could light up a room with his bright smile and positive attitude. He enjoyed spending time with his co-workers at Subway and looked forward to seeing them. He loved spending time with his family and playing video games with his niece and and nephews. He enjoyed travelling with his partner, Justen Wilson, to exotic places. He loved shopping constantly adding to his endless collection of scarves.
The Funeral will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, January 26th 2015 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Andrews, Texas. Rev. Joseph Uecker and Rev. Bernard Gully will officiate. Burial will be in Andrews North Cemetery under the direction of McNett Funeral Home.
The Rosary will be held at 7:00PM Sunday, January 25th 2015 at McNett Funeral Home Chapel. Family is asking that everyone attending not to forget to wear a scarf in remembrance of Joe-Jo.
