David Edward Warden, 57, passed away of natural causes on Monday, January 19, 2015.

His passing was unexpected, but mercifully swift and painless.

Though David earned his living as a court recorder, his passion was music. He was a bass soloist and active member of both the St. Gabriel's Episcopal Church choir and the Wheatland Chorale.

David, son of the late Edward P. and M. Virginia (Ruth) Warden, is survived by his younger brother, Douglas R. Warden, relatives from the Ruth and Bunnell families, and many, many good friends that he considered his extended family.

His brother wishes to thank all of the wonderful congregants of St. Gabriel's, members of the Wheatland Chorale and good, true friends who have unhesitatingly stepped forward to help however they could.

David's Celebration of Life service will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at St. Gabriel's Episcopal Church, 1188 Ben Franklin Highway East (Route 422), Douglassville, PA 19518. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Shillington will be private at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to St. Gabriel's or to the Wheatland Chorale, P.O. Box 5354, Lancaster, PA 17606-5354.
