Doris Sarah Abdul-Haqq, most beloved wife and mother, went to be with the Lord Jesus on December 22, 2014.

The Celebration of Life Service is Sunday, December 28, 2014 at 12:30 PM with visitation from 12:00–12:30 PM at Ballard-Sunder Funeral & Cremation, Prior Lake.
Private family interment will take place on Monday, December 29, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Acacia Park Cemetery in Mendota Heights.

Doris was born in northern India in 1929. She became a noted physician, professor of surgery, and Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinborough, Scotland. She served the Lord faithfully as a missionary in India and Israel, before embarking on the great adventure of making a home for her recently widowed husband and raising eight children, for whom she left both career and country. She will be most remembered for her simple and powerful faith in Jesus Christ, which she demonstrated so clearly. It is through this constant faith and service that she also shared in the calling and work of her husband, who served the Lord as an Associate Evangelist, with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Akbar Abdul-Haqq of Prior Lake, MN; children: Miriam Prabhakar of Narsupur, India; Eb (Terri) Abdul-Haqq of Ballston Spa, NY; Emanuel (Jill) Abdul-Haqq of Belchertown, MA; Deborah Haqq of Burnsville, MN; David (Jan) Abdul- Haqq of Lutz, FL; Hannah (Anand) Jillella of Atlanta, GA; Elisheba (Mark) Stevens of Belle Mead, NJ; and Jonathan (Rachel) Abdul-Haqq of Prior Lake, MN. She is further survived by 25 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren as well as sister, Primrose Dinan, and brother, Ashish Sohan-Lal both of Toronto, Ontario.
