Christy R. Baxter, 41, passed away on January 6th, 2015, in Kissee Mills, Mo. Christy was born on May 7th, 1973 in Springfield, Mo., to her mother, Brenda Walker.
She attended Ozark High School. Christy was married in 1990 and had four children, including Kay Marie, who passed away in infancy.
Christy was a joy to be around, always so loving and caring. She loved animals, especially her dog Zeberiah. Most of all, she loved her family unconditionally and wanted her children and grandchildren to be happy and know how much she adored them.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Kay Marie Baxter.
Christy is survived by her mother, Brenda Walker of Kissee Mills; her sister, Keisha Lemmon-Clifford along with her children, niece Aaliyah and nephew, Alexander Clifford; her daughter, Tori "Ashley" Baxter and her children, nieces Nadia and Nyrvanna Crose and nephew Astrid Baxter; sons, Michael Baxter of Springfield, David Baxter with girlfriend Maddy Scott of Ozark and their daughter, Ajah Baxter.
A memorial is scheduled for 4 p.m. on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Fremont Baptist Church in Ozark, Mo.
