Son of George Washington and Frances Saloma Hare Zinn. Married Mary Lorena Moore on Feb. 11, 1914 in Butler, Missouri. He farmed all his life and was a devoted father and grandfather. He enjoyed people and making friends was one of his greatest enjoyments of life. He enjoyed fishing in his pit with this family and friends. He also enjoyed his trips to Butler where he would stop at different businesses to visit with the people that worked there and the owners.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife on Feb 25, 1972; a son, Robert, and a total of 13 brothers and sisters.
He leaves two daughters, Ruby Werner and Verla Drysdale, both of Butler, and a son Willis Zinn of Bristol, Ill.; nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Services were held Wed., March 26 at the Underwood-Steinbeck-Schowengerdt Chapel, Butler, with the Rev. Mikel Robbins officiating.
