Everett Damon Abbott, age 86, of Weeki Wachee, Florida, passed away on Friday, January 9, 2015 in his home under the care of his loving family. He was the husband of Joan W. Abbott.
Born in Exeter, New Hampshire he was a son of the late Joseph G and Alma B Abbott. He was a Veteran of the US Marine Corps serving during World Wat II and again during the Korean War. He was of the Catholic faith and a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, Spring Hill, Florida. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed tinkering and puttering and keeping everything in military order. He loved life and his family.
A memorial gathering will be held on Monday, January 12, 2015 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Turner Funeral Homes Spring Hill Chapel, 14360 Spring Hill Drive, Spring Hill, Florida with a Prayer Service at 3:00 PM.
