"Ted Earl CLINE, November 23, 2013- February 25, 2014 Phenix City, Alabama--CPO Ted Earl CLINE, U.S. Navy Retired, 77 of Phenix City, Alabama died Tuesday February 25, 2014 at Jack Hughston Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday February 28, 2014 in Lakewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby, Phenix City, Alabama with Pastor Jay H. WEBSTER and Rev. Stephen WARD officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm until 2:00pm Friday prior to the service. Mr. CLINE was born November 23, 1936 in Columbus, Georgia. He is the son of the late John Earl and Nanny Lee EVERIDGE CLINE. He was retired from the U.S. Navy after 21 years of service as a Chief Petty Officer and was a member of First Baptist Church of Salem, Alabama. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, William Ted CLINE. Survivors include his wife, Elsie CLINE of Phenix City, AL, daughters, Becky GLISSON, Debra Wise (Bob), granddaughter, Hayley GLISSON all of Salem, AL, step-daughter, Gail DeVAULT of Louisville, KY, step-sons, Daniel OCKINGTON and Thomas OCKINGTON both of Phenix City, AL.
