Bernice was a lovely little red haired lady. She taught school at St. Joe where she lived in a little house that Jim Aagard owned. Robert Aagard (Bob) whom she latter married, was a good looking tall slim young man who would carry the wood and the water for the school house as a means to get to know her better. They were married for many years.
