Jesse Leonard Baith Sr., 88, formerly of 93 Park Village died Saturday in the Woodland Retirement Center in Orbisonia, PA.

He was born May 28, 1907 in Three Springs, PA, the son of Robert Jesse and Lula (Struller) Baith.
Mr. Baith retired as the owner of Baith Brothers Moving and Storage in Shelby. He was a member of the First Church of God in Shelby.

He is survived by his wife, Kathryn (Kough) Wagner Baith of Mapleton, PA, whom he married on April 30, 1994; three sons and daughters-in-law: Benjamin R. and Norma J. Baith of Shelby, Roy Graham Baith of Mansfield, Timothy Rand and, Mary Beth Baith of Columbus, and Ann Baith of Eddyville, KY; five daughters and four sons-in-law: Donna Baith of Murray, KY, Linda Rae and Ernest Grogg of Lexington, Cinda Lou and Richard Elliott of Lexington KY, Rebecca and James Zivkoff of Lucas, and Patricia and Kip Dyer of Mansfield; 22 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; one brother, Leo F. Baith of Cleveland and two sisters: Mary Park of Mansfield and Mabel Hammond of California, two step-children: Evelyn Fairbanks of Huntingdon, PA, and Donald Blair Wagner of North Versailles, PA; 15 step-grandchildren; 22 step great-grandchildren; one step great-great granddaughter.

Mr. Baith was preceded in death by his first wife, Gladys Irene (Bailey) Baith in 1992, by two sons: Jesse Leonard Baith Jr. and Richard Leigh Baith, and by three brothers and two sisters.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. at the Turner Funeral Home in Shelby. Funeral service will be held on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at the First Church of God, 1756 Park Avenue West in Mansfield with Rev. Robin Rigg, pastor of the Church of God in Allegan, Michigan and Rev. Leon Hartwig, interim pastor officiating. Burial will be in Mansfield Memorial Park.
