Marjorie O. Nichols Meers, 79, of Louisville passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2010 at Summerfield Manor.
She was a member of VFW Post #1181.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, Richard W. Nichols, Sr., and son Richard "Rick" W. Nichols, Jr.
Marjorie is survived by her husband, Otis W. Meers, Jr.; two daughters; one sister, Ollie Ainsworth of Texas; nine grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be noon on Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-8 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Parkinson's Foundation, 4912 U. S. Highway 42, Ste. 105, Louisville, KY 40222.
