Mrs. Martha Sharpe, 76, passed away at her home in Keota February 20, 1936. SHe was born April 11, 1860. She professed faith in Christ at the age of 9, joined the Baptist Church and lived a consecrated Christian life.
She was united in marriage to Robert Lee, to which union was born 3 children; William Lee, Coachella, Calif, Mrs. Mary Simpson and Mrs. Mammie Donalson, both of Coalgate, Oklahoma, Mr. Lee preceded her in death. In 189? she was again united in marriage to William Sharp to which union was born 2 children, Mrs. Blanche Cox, Stigler and ?. ?, Sharp at the home address. She was loyal to her home, her Lord and his Church.
She lived in Keota for 45 years and for several years was Sunday School superintendent of the Baptist Church. Funeral services were held at the home Saturday afternoon. Interment was made in the Iron Bridge Cemetery under the direction of the Mallory Funeral Home.
