Surrounded by love from near and afar, Virginia Rose Rhodabeck, age 88, of Lansing, peacefully passed on December 31, 2014. Ginny was a member of the Old Everett class of '45. She retired from the State of Michigan Department of Agriculture. She was a graceful member of the Foxy Squares, an avid golfer, and a card shark. She will be most remembered for her love and devotion to her family.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 69 years, Howard Rhodabeck; loving children Kip Rhodabeck, Randy (Becky) Rhodabeck, Deb (Gil) Fuentes; 9 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter; brother Pat (Rosalee) Ray; sister Hester (Vern) Root; sister-in-law Christine Ray and sister-in-law Geraldine Ray. She is preceded in death by her parents Clifford (Mabel) Ray; brother Ernest Ray and brother Ronald Ray.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 6 at 3:00 p.m. with a funeral service following at 4:00 p.m. at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home, 900 E. Michigan Ave, Lansing.
