She married James Russell Farris on September 9, 1948 in Prairie du Chien. They were blessed with 7 children:

Alice Adelaide Farris passed away from cancer on December 29, 2008, in South Bend, Indiana. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on January 2, 2009, by her son Fr. William John Farris, OFM. Interment followed at Riverview Cemetery.
