Joyce A. Bains, 70, of Marvin St., Providence, passed peacefully on November 23, 2013 in Summit Commons, Providence. Born in New Bedford, MA on March 25, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Constance (Prifogle) Bains.
Joyce spent her earlier years on Prudence Island, Rhode Island. She worked at several area jewelry companies over the years. She also was an avid reader.
Joyce is survived by a brother; Joseph Bains of Braintree, MA, and a sister; Donna Church of Westerly. She was the sister of the late Kenneth Kuhn.
