Joseph Babcock
PONTIAC.- Joseph S. Babcock, 74, died at his home here Thursday after a two days illness.
Funeral services will be held at the Erwin Funeral home at 4 p.m. Saturday.
Mr. Babcock was born Jan. 2, 1868 in Pontiac Township, son of Joseph and Octavia Babcock. Early in life he engaged in farming and later was an agent for the Chicago and Alton Railway.
He married Miss Mollie McCormick in Tallula in 1889. She preceded him in death in 1903. In 1912, [sic] he married Mrs. Cora Streeper, and they lived in Washburn, and later in this city.
Survivors are his wife and the following children; Mrs. Mary Fordham, Deerfield; Mrs. Bertha Adami, Pontiac; Joseph S. Babcock, Jr., San Pedro, Calif.; Edward R. Babcock, Neches, Tex.

Both Joseph and Cora were previously married, and they married each other in 1905.
