December 17, 2014, marked the passing of Lorraine E. Flint, daughter to Willard and Mary Lloyd, beloved wife, selfless mother, caring sister, and friend to all who had the privilege to know her.

The light she brought into this world lives on in those who remain to remember her: Her devoted husband Rick Flint; her three loving sons, Colby R. Garrison, Casey D. Garrison and his partner Rita M. Glossip, and Robert E. Flint and his wife, Tanya M. Flint; her faithful sister, Elaine Roach; her adoring grandchildren, Tyler D. Garrison, Alyssa R. Garrison, Macy R. Garrison, Gavin L. Garrison, Michaela E. Garrison, and Andrew S. Garrison; her beautiful great-grandchildren, Parker D. Garrison and Guinevere F. Garrison; her loving nieces and nephew, Cynthia J. Garcia, Tad M. Lloyd, and Kim A. Taylor; and her inseparable and constant canine companion, Gracie.

Lorraine came into this world on January 9, 1948, in Dayton, Ohio, and gave us 66 years of beauty and vibrant energy. Her lifelong passion was making her home in Germantown, Ohio, a welcoming home full of love and laughter and smiles.

All are welcome to attend her visitation at Arpp & Root funeral home in Germantown, Ohio, on Monday, December 22, 2014 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm.

A celebration of her life will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 10:30am with a service led by Pastor Pattie Matthews.

Lorraine will be placed at rest at Highland Memorial Cemetery in Miamisburg, Ohio, in a setting that gave her great joy in life and will give those of us who live on continued joy of her memory.
