Foxborough – Pasquale “Pat” DelGrosso, age 90, died Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Norwood Hospital surrounded by the comfort of his loving family. He was the son of the late Domenic and Antoinette (Nardelli) DelGrosso.

Pat was born on March 30, 1924 in Altoona, PA. He was a graduate of Norwood High School, Class of 1943 and proudly served his country in the US Army during WWII. He married his wife Eileen (Sevieri) at Most Precious Blood Church in Hyde Park on September 12, 1954. Pat was employed as a cabinet maker for Anderson McQuaid in Cambridge until his retirement in 1991.

Pat was a member of the Wrentham VFW and was an avid gardener. He loved working with wood and most enjoyed time spent with his family. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He attended all of his grandchildren’s sporting events. He loved fishing with family and friends.

Beloved husband of Eileen (Sevieri) Del Grosso. Devoted father of Donna DelGrosso of Raynham, Paula Rosenthal and her husband Michael of Framingham, Patricia DeLisle and her husband Eric of Foxborough and Gina Quintanilha and her husband Ernest of Norton. Loving grandfather of Michael, Robert, Holly, Ashley,Jessica and Emily. Great grandfather of Lily, Nora, Jaeleigh, Violet and Hannah. Brother of Anthony DelGrosso of Norwood and the late Michael DelGrosso.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, September 16 from 4 to 8 PM at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, Foxborough. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 AM at St. Mary’s Church, 58 Carpenter Street, Foxborough. Interment to follow at the National Cemetery in Bourne.

In lieu of flowers donations in Pat’s memory may be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
