She was predeceased by her parents, both husbands, her siblings and their spouses, Elizabeth Koontz Hammond, Charles Koontz, Grace Koontz Wine, Evelyn Koontz Leister and Earl Koontz and her grandson Gordon L. Wantz. She is survived by her two grandsons Tate Tribodeaux of Kew West, FL and Todd Tribodeaux of Las Vegas; one granddaughter Kimberly Scott (Peter) of Middletown, MD; 6 great-granddaughters and 3 nieces. She is also survived by her great-daughter-in-law Christine Wantz of Walkersville, MD.
Pauline graduated from Charles Carroll High School in 1936 and planned class reunions annually for many years the last of which was held in October at Heartfields with 2 other remaining class members. She was actively involved in high school sports and worked for some years at Grife Coat Co. in Westminster. She loved sewing, doing crafts and traveling.
She attended St. Mary's United Church of Christ, Silver Run, MD until she moved to Frederick where she became a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.

The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Saturday, December 20, 2014 from 10-11AM where a Memorial Mass will begin at 11AM.
Interment will follow at Linden Hills Cemetery.
