Ronald Todd Fisher, 48, of San Antonio, TX , a former Portsmouth resident, was fatally injured when he was hit by a car in San Antonio on Friday December 12, 2014. He was born September 9, 1966 in Cincinnati, OH a son of the Rev. Evan D. and Margaret “Marge” J. Todd Fisher of Portsmouth.
An employee of McDonald’s, Ron was a 1984 Portsmouth High School graduate and had studied education at Shawnee State University and San Antonio College, and classical guitar at Marshall University.
In addition to his parents, he is also survived by his sister, Laura D’Lynn (Edward II) Sova of Kalamazoo, MI; and his nephew Edward R. Sova “Eddie” III, of whom he was very proud.
Ron was an animal lover, therefore in lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his name to Sierra’s Haven for New & Used Pets, 80 Easter Dr., Portsmouth, OH 45662.
Arrangements are pending at the Ralph F. Scott Funeral Home in Portsmouth.
Ron gave the gift of life through organ and tissue donation.
