Rites for Bob Steele
Bob Steele, 60, rural Stockport, died Tuesday, April 17, 1990, at 11:46 p.m. at his home.
He was born February 17, 1930, in Jefferson County, the son of Rex and Lydia Ziegler Steele.
On May 15, 1954, he married Irene Medaris in Kahoka, Mo.
He worked at Dexter Company and served in the U.S. Marine Corp. during Korean conflict.
Survivors include his wife, two sons, one brother and one sister.
Funeral services will be Saturday, April 21, at 2 p.m. at the Behner Funeral Home, Fairfield, with the Rev. Dean Grant officiating.
Family visitation will be 7-8 p.m. Friday, April 20.
Interment, with military rites, will be in Glasgow Cemetery.
A memorial has been established to the Hospice of Jefferson County, and Wildlife Preservation for Jefferson County.
