When Stephen Henry Harry Henrey ALDEN was born on November 8, 1789, in Sullivan, New Hampshire, his father, Benjamin, was 31 and his mother, Polly, was 30. He married Hannah HAMMOND on October 23, 1815, in Windsor, Vermont. They had 13 children in 22 years. He died on January 19, 1863, in Calhoun, Michigan, at the age of 73, and was buried at their neighbors farm.
