Mrs. Babb, age 87, was the daughter of the late Robert Archibald and Cora Lee Scott.
Mrs. Babb graduated from Hollins College and the Katherine Gibbs School. She had worked for the Navy Department and the Central Intelligence Agency.
She married Eugene C. Babb on October 10, 1953, in Bedford. Mr. Babb died on November 30, 2014.
She was a first grade teacher for 21 years with the Winchester School System. She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church. She was a volunteer at the Episcopal Church Treasure Box. She also volunteered with the Literacy program at the Handley Library. Mrs. Babb was on the Board of Directors for the Fremont Street Nursery. She was a member of the Winchester Retired Teachers Association. She served as a docent for the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley.
She is survived by two daughters. A brother, Robert A. Scott, Jr., predeceased her.
