Edna Shuman Ellis, age 97, widow of Dr. Pierce S. Ellis, died Monday, November 23, 1992. She is survived by her daughter, Virginia Powers, Richmond; her son, Pierce S. Ellis, Jr., Nashville, TN; five grandchilddre; and fourteen great-grandchildren. Her remains rest at the Bennett Funeral Home, 2315 Cutxhaw Av., where services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 24. Interment in Forest Lawn Cemeter. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to your favorite charity.
