She was born April 24, 1929, in Sheffield, Ill., to Thomas and Catherine (Morrissey) Gorman. She married John R. "Dick" Warkins on Jan. 9, 1949, in Princeton. He preceded her in death on Aug. 28, 2003. She also was preceded in death by one brother, Tom Gorman, and one sister, Jule Ann Hulteen.
Surviving are one son, John (Roxann) Warkins, Jr. of Morton; one daughter, Debi (Richard) Frow of Morton; five grandchildren, Matthew Warkins, Jeffery (Melony) Warkins, Tami (Derek) Meister, Cassie Frow and Ryan Frow; and one sister, Rosemary DeBrock of Princeton.
Ann worked as a secretary for more than 30 years for the Harold E. Parr Insurance Agency in Princeton and later worked at the Bureau County Day Care Center as a bookkeeper, retiring in 1989.
She was a member of the St. Louis Catholic Church in Princeton, where a funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, 2014, with Fr. Jeffrey Stirniman officiating. Visitation will be from 9 to 9:45 a.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will be at Elm Lawn Memorial Park in Princeton.
