Joseph E. Williams, 66, a visitor from Fresno, died Saturday in Monterey of an apparent
heart attack. A resuscitator squad from the Monterey Fire Department was summoned
at 6:04 p.m. to Deer Flat Park where Mr. Williams was staying in a trailer. He then was
taken by ambulance to a Peninsula Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. He leaves
his wife, Katherine, of Fresno and several children, also living in the Fresno area.
Funeral services will be held at Stephens and Bean Funeral Home in Fresno. Dorsey and
Farlinger is in charge of local arrangements.
