Services were scheduled for Monday, May 14 at the First Presbyterian Church of Houston. Burial will be in Memorial Oaks Cemetery by George H. Lewis and Sons Funeral Home, Houston, Texas.
Mr. Dohoney was born in Paris, a son of Alfred Peyton Dohoney and Irene Hardin Dohoney. He was a graduate of the University of Texas Law School and served as an officer in the U. S. Navy during World War II. He was the senior partner in the firm Dohoney, Collier, Cartwright, and Wandel, Attorneys at Law in Houston. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Houston and of the Sigma Phi Epsilon Alumni, the Houston Club, and the River Oaks Country Club.
Surviving are his wife, Bettie Hindman Dohoney, two daughters, and two grandsons.
