On June 24, 1938, she married her soulmate, Giuseppe. In 1952, they came to the United States where they shared a wonderful life. Besides her husband, Giuseppe (Joe), she is survived by her two daughters Frances Jacobellis, wife of Frank Jacobellis, and Grace Vinciguerra, both of Mahopac. She is also survived by her five grandchildren: Thomas and Kay-Lynn Jacobellis, Victoria and Eric Luczkowski, and Joseph Vinciguerra, all of Mahopac. She also got to enjoy her two new great-grandchildren Madeline Grace Jacobellis and Matthew Joseph Luczkowski. She will also be missed by her brother Salvatore Nigro (Irene) of Paramus, NJ and Josephine Laneri (Jose) of Buenos Aires, Argentina; her brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews.
"Her family would like to thank her doctors, Hospice and her nurses' aide who were able to keep her with us for as long as they did."
Visiting hours will be at Farenga Brothers Funeral Parlor on Allerton Avenue in the Bronx from 2-4 and 7-9 PM on June 2nd and 3rd. Mass will be held at St. Lucy's Church on Friday, June 4, 2004. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Care in Westchester and Putnam, Inc., 100 South Bedford Road, Mt. Kisco, NY 10549.
