Concepcion was the third child born to Ricardo C. Diaz and Antonia Gutierrez. She was born December 1, 1898 in Pitiquito, Sonora, Mexico.

She married Lauro Miranda Bernal, son of Laura Miranda Bernal and Ramon Bernal, on September 14, 1921. Together they had two children, Julia and Victor. Sadly, Lauro passed away June 3, 1938.

Conception and her children, Julia and Victor came to California from Arizona and lived with older sister Elena and her family.
