Billy Dwayne Armer, also known as Mitch Davis (his radio name), was a consummate vlogger on YouTube for several years where he was known as Barmer479. He made many friends and connections through through his various vlogging efforts on different platforms.

Originally from Arkansas, Billy had made Idaho his home. He had a lot of interests including ham radio, playing the Autoharp and his greatest love of all was the AM/FM radio— where he maintained his own internet radio station, KNAP-Radio.

Billy was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in early 2014, and it was something he didn't hide. He made several videos about his diagnosis, treatments and facing the eventuality that his illness progressed to being terminal. His last video was two months before he passed away— vlogging from inside his car while on the way to a doctor's appointment.

Billy passed away on Friday, November 7, 2014 and was survived his daughter Shelby, his girlfriend Tracy and his beloved dog, Katie.

Several years ago, back when Billy faced other medical issues, he said that the one thing he wanted to leave behind in this world was his YouTube videos. He wanted the everyone to know who he was and what he shared while he was here.
