Christopher never married. He lived with his parents and his only sister Jane ("Jen") at the family home on Cliff Avenue. until their parents both passed away in 1916. He and Jen continued to live in the apartment they had taken with their mother in mid-1916. It was in a house owned by their cousin, Julia Donnelly, on Burden Avenue.
Jen married Herman Gusty March 28, 1921 and the couple and Chris resided in the same apartment. Chris remained with them as Jen's family expanded to include the couple's son, Herman Jr.; for long periods, his niece by his brother Patrick, Jenny; and from 1933 until shortly after his widowed sister's death in November 1940, his nephew by Patrick, Nicholas Farley.
Not sure how long Christopher remained at the Burden Avenue apartment after Jen's death. He was there in 1947 per City of Troy 1947 Directory. St Mary's Cemetery records indicate he was living at 22 Grant Avenue at the time of his passing. Christopher's niece, Lillian Farley, remembers him as having a droll sense of wit and could really get a rise out of his older brother, Patrick, who always lacked a sense of humor.
