picture theatre and gone to his hotel, where he succumbed.
Sloss recentlypurchased the Austin property on Sixth avenue near Oleander [Chico], and intended to bring his family here to reside next fall. His wife is spending the summer in Alturas. They formerly resided at Marysville.
