Samuel Mack Martin, 68, beloved Father and Grandfather, passed away Sunday, November 2, 2014 at Conway Medical Center, Conway, SC, with his family by his side. Born April 25, 1946, in a corn crib, in Conway, SC. He was the son of Theodus Mayberry Martin and Elsie Mae Jordan.

Other than his parents, Samuel is predeceased by three sisters: Mary Lucille Martin Johnson, Shirley Evelyn Martin and Eulavee Martin Gaddy; and five brothers: Hilton, Theodus, Daniel, Joe and Ronald.

He lived an active life and traveled much. Some of his many vocations include: Farmer, Paramedic, Private Pilot, Master Scuba Diving Instructor, Police Officer, Tree Surgeon, Mechanic, Welder and Electrician - he could do most anything. He was always learning something new and his door was always open. He will be dearly missed.

Samuel is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Phyllis Carol Ryals Martin; three children: Joe (Tracy), Cindy and Sammy; four grandchildren: Joe Martin, Sarah Martin, April Cruz and KC Cruz; two brothers: Jamie and Benny; and one sister: Judy May Martin Faircloth. Two stepchildren: Daren Peele (Teresa) and Denise Ceren.
