Tollie was the son of Walker Taylor and Celestia Hubbard Hall Lynn. He was the husband of Mertie Ellen Killman and the father of nine children, Bertha Eunice, Roscoe, Roy T., James E., Harding, William, Edith Lee, Gladys, and Lovie.
Tollie always had a very large garden. He sold vegetables by the truckloads. He was one of the hardest working men around.
