Judith Accettola of Waterville, Ohio passed away on October 18, 2008. Born in Florida and raised in Pennsylvania, Judy was the daughter of Walter and Jeanne Kirker, and was a graduate of Dickenson College and the University of Toledo School of Law. Judy remained in Toledo as part of the Lucas County Prosecutor's Office, and concluded her career as their head of Grand Jury. Judy was a wonderful spirit whose love for life impacted countless others. She had many hobbies, but most important to her was sharing time with her family and friends. Judy leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of 26 years, Paul Accettola; her children, Alison Accettola, Andy Accettola, Jeanne (Joe) Kestel, and Casey Accettola; her siblings, Jane Conroy, Bob Kirker, Donna Morgan, and Kelly Murray and her mother, Jeanne Kirker. At Judy's request, friends and family are invited to join in a "remembrance of life" which will occur at the Belmont Country Club on Tuesday, October 21 from 4-6 p.m. Also at Judy's request, all memorial contributions may be made to the Toledo Botanical Garden to assist in the completion of the Children's Garden.
