Orange Cove - Funeral services were held today in the Cairns Orange cove Chapel for Kelley I Cheek, 77. Burial was in the Smith Mountain Cemetery.
A native of Missouri, he lived here for 43 years. Surviving are his widow, Ida Belle; two sons, Raymond Cheek of Corcoran and Harley Cheek of Merced, six daughters, Mrs Clyde Ackley (Camilla) of Encinitas, Mrs Floyd Burns (Florence) of Port Chicago, Mrs Harold Duvall (Hazel) and Mrs William Dean (Clara) of Reedley, Mrs Anthony Baczkowski (Carolyn) of Victorville and Mrs Billie Jean Price of Fresno; 24 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
