Mary Ann McClean Fields, 74, died at 4:02 PM Sunday, April 18, 1999, in Lafayette Home Hospital, where she had been a patient seven weeks. Born March 24, 1925, at Brookston, she graduated from Brookston High School. She
married Gordon B. Fields on Dec. 9, 1945, and he survives. Mrs. Fields, a homemaker, enjoyed antique collecting and refinishing furniture.
Surviving with her husband are three sons, Daniel Fields of Shadeland, Dennis Fields and Ronald Fields, both of Lafayette; four grandchildren; and an aunt, Carolyn Johnson of Beech Grove, IN. Preceded in death by a brother, Clifford McClean, and a sister, Betty Stockwell.
